Q. What is included in a rental from Arctic Chill?
We at Arctic Chill pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We educate you up front on machine placement, estimating mix volume, machine operation, mixing instructions, recipe advice, flavor choices and everything else that will help make your party a success. We make sure you have easy access to our phone number so that you can call us if you need anything before, during or after the party (we answer the phones until 9 PM when rental machines are out).
In addition to the personal support, our rentals include at no cost to you:
- Personalized instructions on machine operation and mix preparation,
- Written instructions,
- 25 foot extension cord (when needed),
- A 5 gallon mixing jug
Q. Are the frozen cocktail machines easy to use?
You bet! With any of our packages, we instruct you on how to use the machine, make a batch of drink mix and give you helpful hints to keep the frozen drinks flowing. We give you printed instructions with your invoice and each of our bottles of mix have clear instructions and recipes. If you select to have your machine delivered, we mix up your first batch and show you how to mix up the subsequent batches.
We provide you with a clean 5 gallon jug that makes mixing the drinks easy and efficient.
Q. How much do the machines weigh? What are their dimensions?
That depends on the machine you rent. We offer 3 different machines. We will determine the best machine for you based on your party size.
Q. Does Arctic Chill rent machines for kid’s parties?
Absolutely! We have a range of non-alcoholic flavoured drinks to choose from for your son or daughter’s next birthday party, because our frozen slushy drinks aren’t just for grown ups!
Q. Do I need to have someone serving the frozen cocktails?
No. The machines are self-serve and easy for you and your guests to use. If you keep the machine full, it will keep the frozen beverages flowing. It is helpful, however, to assign someone to keep the machine refilled, so you can keep your guests happy and your party going!
Q. How much ice does the machine need?
NONE! Our frozen drink machines will do all the freezing for you. All you need to do is pour in the mix and the machine takes care of the rest.
Q. What kind of table do I need for the machine?
A sturdy table near a power point is required. Please do not use glass or trestle tables as the machine weighs approx. 65kg when full.
Q. How far in advance should I reserve the machine from Arctic Chill?
If your party is not on or around a major holiday (Christmas or New Years Eve) you can usually reserve it with 1 week’s notice. You will want to reserve the machine earlier for the traditional holiday party dates. But remember, the sooner the better…you don’t want to miss out!
Q. When will the machine be delivered?
Machines are delivered the day of the event and picked up the following day at a designated time. If you choose to have the machine for the whole weekend, then the machine will be delivered on Friday at a designated time and picked up on Monday between 12 PM and 1 PM. Please note that overnight or daily rentals do not mean the rental is for a full 24 hours.
Q. Delivery charges, Payment, Public Holidays and additional day/night hire?
We provide free delivery within 30km of our Osborne Park office, otherwise a small charge applies to areas outside our delivery zone. Eftpos is available for your convenience, a 2% surcharge applies. We ask for a deposit of $50 then the balance on delivery. A 25% surcharge applies to services on all Public holidays/long weekends, Christmas and New Years Eve. If you wish to hire the machine for an additional day or night the charge is $85.00.
Q. Charter Boats – do your cocktail machines go on boats?
The answer is YES. Our Arctic Chill Frozen Cocktail slush machines are constantly being used by many of Perth’s Premier Charter Boat Companies. Machines are delivered by special arrangement with the Boat Operator and/or Client. Nb. A $50 additional fee is charged for Charter Boats.
